Dear Friends and Fraudster

Dear Friends,

I, Prasanna Kumar Dash, s/o Late Shri S. Dash, solemnly affirm and state as under:

1.    That I am NOT faced with sudden financial distress at a foreign location, and do NOT need you to transmit to any bank account $100 or more to rescue me.

2.    That I am in Bhopal, in good health and cheer, and not in any financial hardship since I receive a reasonable pension which suffices for my simple needs. Hence, I do NOT need you to send any financial assistance to me.

3.    However, if you still insist upon expressing your enormous goodwill for me, please buy one or more of my books, the details of which may be seen at http://amazon.com/author/pkdash

Have a great weekend. Best wishes for you and your family.

Dear Fraudster,

I am amused to note that you have created a FAKE ID on Facebook by using my profile photo and name, and have sent to many of my contacts messages soliciting their email id and mobile, Aadhar, PAN, and bank account numbers.

I wish to inform you that you have made an entirely erroneous assumption that my ‘Friends’ would be highly distressed to learn about my sudden financial difficulty and rush to transfer generous amounts by IMPS/NEFT to the bank account specified by you.

I would advise you not to waste your fraudulent talent on me- a humble pensioner and a struggling writer- or on my ‘Friends’ who are to the best of my knowledge not so rich and gullible as to send their hard-earned money to your bank account.

If you are indeed charmed by my profile photo, you have my leave to get it framed, and worship it daily; but after my demise.
